Our Board and Train program is designed for the family dog to fit into the family in a short period of time. We aim to have a happy and willing dog that responds quickly to commands. We train with sensible effective methods to help your pet learn how to learn and achieve harmony and balance.
Our professional training can build solid, dependable obedience behaviors in your pet. Board and train programs are designed for dogs that require obedience training and minor behavior modification. To take advantage of this service, your dog must be comfortable with a boarding environment and receptive to bonding with a trainer while away from you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept dogs that behave aggressively, or have separation anxiety. (Private lessons are a better option for these dogs.)
When you drop off your dog for Board & Train, please remember to bring enough dog food to cover your dog's visit. Also due at drop-off time is a deposit for half of your dog's stay.
At completion of training we give you an extended private lesson to review your pet's education and train you to continue with the training.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are an opportunity to train your dog through one-on-one instruction. Designed to meet your dog's unique needs and to accommodate your need for personalized scheduling.
An abbreviated behavioral consult is included in the first lesson of private instruction to develop a personalized plan of training.

Augusta Dog Training specializes in private, customized lessons that take place in and around your home--where it counts the most!
By combining positive reinforcement, motivation, and humane correction methods, we teach you how to establish leadership within your family “pack.” A well-mannered and socialized dog can accompany us to the park, in the car, on workouts, and sometimes even to our jobs.
Our knowledgeable and energetic trainers will customize commands and innovative problem-solving techniques to reflect specific goals stated by you and your family for your dog. We take pride in helping you build and maintain a strong and trusting human/canine bond—one that lasts a lifetime!
